We stay here every fall when staging our music festival. I've been at Camp Ramblewood each September since 2001. Lovely owner, friendly staff, beautiful, rolling wooded landscape, comfortably lived-in buildings. It's my once-a-year musical and cultural haven.
Band camp for 25+ years held here. Old but still in good shape. New chef's in the kitchen,improved the food
Overall while the site is not upscale the management and staff make the best of what they have and are very friendly and helpful.
Camp Ramblewood is a home to a number of alternative lifestyle events. It has cabins for about 300 campers. The cabins have hot water, showers and electricity. Overall Camp Ramblewood is showing its age but the owner has been making a concerted effort update and repair the buildings as well as upgrade the bathrooms.
Had a beautiful festival experience at Camp Ramblewood. Such a beautiful space and didn't feel crammed in. This must be the season for caterpillars there - literally thousands and thousands everywhere (but I didn't mind, some did).
Food is provided by the dining hall depending on the event. Some events allow tenting and campers will sometimes do their own meal plans.
One by one all bathrooms and buildings are being remodeled and a few years back the upgraded the beds to these adult (single) sized metal frames w awesome tempurpedic style mattresses. Not the same children's camp it was a decade back. Always nice to see what new improvements and changes are happening each year.
