I Love this marina. I've been to 3 others on the lake, and prefer Glen Cove by far. Butch and Sue are top notch as well. They have clean private restrooms, a nice little store for boating items, snacks and ice. Adequate parking for truck and trailer, as well as for your boating guests cars. In my opinion, it's the best marina on the lake.

We love taking our boat out here.

A+++ marina...Butch and staff truly care about your experience

Nice little marina but has a somewhat odd launching process for those unfamiliar with the layout. If you're launching here for the first time, here's how it goes: Pull straight down the center of the upper parking area and pull all the way ahead to where the last parking spots are, there you can prepare your boat for launch doing everything but undoing the winch. Then drive down the hill keeping an eye out for other boaters coming up the same way as the roadway is quite narrow. Go easy over the speed bumps near the restrooms and swing right once past the store then back left at the top of the ramp to turn around completely. Then you can unhook and back down into the water, launch then head back up to the parking lot with your vehicle. If it's busy, you generally wait up top for one of the previous launchers to come up before making your way down as there is only room for one additional vehicle at the bottom near the ramp. When returning up top, turn to your left as you enter the parking area, drive through where trailer-less vehicles park, then do a loop around to the right side where the trailers are parked. There is also additional parking in a gravel area on the far side of the intersection. Also note that depending on which way the prevailing winds are blowing there can be a substantial amount of wood and other floating debris in the cove, sometimes to the point of choking it off completely. If there's been a recent spate of easterly winds you might want to give them a call beforehand to check conditions.
